Title: Read Only Library Broken

I keep getting the read only library message.  I don't have any other running instances on that library, though!  How does MC determine if the library is open at the moment?  I've seen the lock file before but it isn't there and it still says the library is in use.

Sorry!  I solved my own problem.

I'm still interested in the question: how does MC know if the library is open?
