Title: Help: Web Media & Windows Media Errors
Post by: wmosher on May 15, 2003, 02:44:54 am
I just bought v8.0.393 and most of the urls listed on web media keep coming back with the following error message:

"Playback Engine: Media Jukebox is unable to acquire license for this file.

Windows Media Error: 0xC00D0026"

Is this a temporary url issue?  Does anyone know the fix?
?
Thank you for your response in advance.

I have a "me too" case here. I'm on Win XP / MJ8.0 and I do not seem to be able to play the radio channels that requires Windows Media Player. I can normally play these channesl in WMP or directly in Explorer. They fail in MJ8, and I see the same error messages that wmosher reports. One example is Atlanta's 99x:

Any help will be greatly appreciated  :D
Best wishes from Denmark

I assume this is due to a conflict between MJ8 and WM9 as indicated in:

http://www.musicex.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=general;action=display;num=1051736647;start=0#0

Occurs in latest version 8.0.399

No indication this will be addressed in MJ8.
