Title: Suggestion: add a thumbnail to Mini View

I would love to see a small thumbnail in between the playing controls and the data area.  It would be toggle-able, much like the spectrum analyzer is.

I haven't thought too much about placement, there are probably better ideas than smack in the middle, maybe left justified in front of the play controls.

Maybe I will try a mock up later today.


An unrelated observation:  When in mini view (Noire), when I click on other programs, MC becomes transparent and on top of all the other programs, EXCEPT Firefox, which completely covers it.  Not sure why.

We've played with this, but have never gotten something we're happy with on all skins.

As always, mockups welcome.

I'm not familiar with the skinning aspects, so my mockup would be Noire specific, but I will give it a shot.

Maybe take the second one and expand the thumbnail area the whole height and the menu bar slides to the right?

I am liking the Mini view much more than I used too, I guess I have MC more in the background.  Someone posted the idea of having the Display for mini view be "dockable", that would be another good approach.
