Title: synolgy usb server/ linux ext3 file system

I am planning to get the synology usb server to which my network drive will be attached; the drive is formatted in linux ext3; the drive will be mapped to my home theater pc; will media center be able to read mp3 and jpg files off this drive to be played by my home theater pc running windows xp?
