On media server i can download a danish tv guide and pin out what i what to record whith out putting in time start and time end, is there something that i have missed or is this not possible in MC

There is no guide integration in MC. To schedule a recording in Media Scheduler, you need to choose a channel, and start time, and duration.

Is this ever something which will be considered for MC though?

Is it so hard to answer the question of Raym?

Yes and No :)
Yes, it is hard because I can not give you a straight yes or no answer. No it is not hard, and I should have answered it but let it slip.

We have been considering it for quite a while.
Is it something we can try implement in near future? Probably not.
We can not do it without violating copyright law and without having to pay large fees to makers of the guides.

I'll have to conclude than that JRiver is not considering to turn Media Center in a real and complete Mediacenter in the near future (i.e. with fully support for watching and scheduled recording of live TV with tv guide and support for two or more tv-tunercards) as other Mediacenter software (like the open source MediaPortal) does. That's a pity, because I think JRiver Media Center is far superior when it comes to Music and Images.

Other apps get around this by simply providing the functionality and then it's up to the users to integrate whatever 3rd party xml grabbers are available. This works fine.
Here's an excellent FREE tv capture and scheduling tool which does this as an example: http://www.digtv.no-ip.com/webscheduler/

Yaobing is correct that it is an issue of rights. We'd like to do more.
