I think MC is overlooking playists' usefullness and should add some functionality. Playlists are great for mix CDs; you don't have to rip a copy of your mix, just "store" it in a playlist.
1. Otto import for playlists which would track files and prevent loss due to renaming/editing/moving of files.
2. Being able to define the columns for all playlists or all playlists under one playlist group. With over 100+ playlists...this is badly needed if you want to add existing CDs to playlists.
3. Auto-name feature when adding existing CD or even batch playlist creation. User could highlight 20 CDs, for example, and all could be added to a new or exisitng playlist group, titled with Album title.
I think that's it for now. Thoughts?
