Having rebuilt the hard drive on my HTPC this weekend, I decided to take the plunge and move to MC12.
So far, I'm really blown away with the additional power and speed.
I'm finding the options dialog box fairly complicated--some things have moved around, but I'm managing.
I've followed the advice on this board with regards to installing codecs, etc. and all of my file types are now playing properly, including audio files m4a, m4p, ac3, ape, apl, wma, wav. DolbyDigital and DTS audio files are properly recognized by my receiver. Video is performing pretty well (although the avi thumbnail building is scary--watching the tray fill up with ffdshow instances).
However....
What's the status on tag writing to files? Particularly m4a & m4p files and their co-existence with an iTunes library?

Any news on tagging?
