Title: Media Sub Type Quick Question

Should I be able to but my own data into the Media Sub Type field?
Currently I can type in the drop down, but it doesn't save the data.
I can however select one of the items in the list.

As far as I am aware the Media Sub Type field is the field read by an IPod for video files so they show up in the correct place and is hence un-editable...
