Title: MC losing customized sort order in "sort by default"

Hi, I found a reasonably significant bug in 11.1.200:


1. in pane view.

2. Options > Customize current view

3. Add > A-Z > Date (year) > OK

4. Options > Sort by Plays

5. Options > Sort by Default

6. Options > Customize current view. Date sort is no longer there.


- may happen in non-pane views as well.
- does also happen if in step 4 you sort by another view other than plays.
- probably happens for other sort criteria than Date

PS. Media Center rocks. I love the new features in 11.1.

You lost the sorting you configured in the step 3. already when you did the step 4. The "Sort" menu changes the "Sorting" list in the Customize Current View options.

"Step: 5." -- this does not mean the sorting order you configured in the step 3. It applies the program default.

You can save your configured sort orders as presets in the Customize Current View window.

The pinned release thread near the top of this forum would be the correct place for bug reports.

If you have feature requests the correct place would be the MC12 Beta forum. MC11.1 is final and it is not likely to change.

another example of why saved presets should also be available in that "drop-down, fly-out" sort menu.

seems like I'm stalking you this morning Alex ;)
