Hello,
I've noticed that in this version of MC 11 when typing data (Song name, Artist's name etc) in taginfo window, it takes a looong time to complete. I type pretty fast and hitting the TAB key it is supposed to take me to the next field immediately so I can continue entering my data. This doesn't happen though. It takes a long time to finish entering the first title before it goes to the next.
Here's my system info:

I think it is saving the id3v2 tag.
This Is One Of The Problems With The In-line Tagging.
I have found it is faster if you put the files you wish to work with in Playing Now. I think What Happens Is MC updates The Screen And If You Only Have The Files You Wish To Work On In Playing Now Then There Is Not As Many Files In The List And Not The Full Library.
There Is A Way To Turn Off Id3v2 Tags, And Or Turn Off In Each Field You Wish To Change. Just Unselect "[X] Store In File Tags (When Possible)" For Each Field.

I have noticed the same problem as geoptin, but silly me, i thought it was my computer being slow. Now I know better.

Hello again!
I tried everything KingSparta suggested, but no luck. The problem is still there. I think the JR people should look into it.
It's not my computer that slows down typing in the Action/File Properties/TagInfo/"Name" box where we put the song's title. It's really very annoying and... kinda stupid!
Thanks for your suggestions, KingSparta.

You can also go into plug-in manager, look for the mp3 settings, i forget what type of plug-in. But you can turn off the id3v2 tags from there also (or could at one time).
you also may need to reboot MC for the changes to take effect (not sure).
I don't have MC on this computer (at work, IT admin don't allow it).
