Title: How to get altered ratings back from iPod Nano to MC?

I posted this in the Portable Digital Players Forum before, but i got no answer. So i'm trying here.

I can't sync back the ratings to MediaCenter 11 or 12, that i altered on my Nano (1st generation).
I sync to my Nano in the morning without ratings and do the ratings on my way to work.
In the evening i want to sync these ratings with my library, but nothing happens.

And yes, the handheld option "Get play stats from handheld on connect" is active.
But no ratings go to my library.

What am i doing wrong?

We know this is happening with certain firmware + Nano combinations, and we're looking into it.

I'm seeing this on my 60 gig 5G ipod too. (firmware v1.1.2)

Not only do the ratings not sync from ipod to MC, they get reset on the ipod to match the ratings already in the library.

build 118 fixed this for me. thanks.

I installed build 118 and connected my Nano. This wiped out all songs on my iPod.
This means, the Nano displayed no more Artists, Albums or songs, all lists were empty.

In MC however, all the data on the Nano was still there. I even could play the songs from the handheld.

After initializing the Nano and syncing with MC, all is OK now.
Syncing back the ratings now work for me, thanks!
