Title: Any thing similar to toaster?

I have used both Winamp and MediaMonkey in the past and have used toaster in both so that a window would pop up when a new song is played. The window would display the album art, track name, artist, etc... The feature was nice because you could have the player minimized, but still see the track information for a few seconds at the beginning of each song.

Is there a feature similar to this in MC? Or a plugin?

Yes there is! It's a PlayingNow plug-in available on the plug-in page at the MC website. It's fully configurable, with several skins and GUIs.
