Title: Registration code media center 12 beta

I am a long time user of Media Center.  Where can I obtain a registration code for this beta.  I would love to try the app.

You can just download it.  You have a 30 day evaluation period.

I tried and it keeps telling me that my evaluation period has expired.

If you have already downloaded and installed the product, your trial period may be up.  In that case you have to buy MC12 to be able to use it. If you already paid for a prior version of MC, you may be eligible for a discount.

Note:  even though MC12 is still in Beta, you either have to license it (buy it) or be limited by the trial period.  There are no special Beta registration codes.

Thanks.  I did not realize that you could by a license for the beta product.  I am a license holder for Media Center 11.  Do you purchase the license for 12 beta at the same url?

I assume that it will work when the final product is released.  Any ideas when that will be?

Note: this is for MC11.  But recently issued MC11 keys will work MC12.  If you have a purchased copy of MC you should be able to upgrade for a reduced price.  To do that you click on the buy button in MC12.  I'm not sure how this works if your trial expired (e.g. does it allow you to buy at the point it tells you the trial expired)?

I don't know when MC12 will become standard.  The official response would be something like "when it's ready".  What I can tell you is it is very stable.  I and many others have switched over to it.

That link is the FAQ page. You can't purchase from there, you must install the program and purchase from within it.
