Title: Internet Explorer proxy settings prevents connection to library server

MC 12.119
I attempted to connect to library server on local network. It seemed to find it but when hang when "Connecting to remote server".
Turned out that I had proxy set up in IE7.
I didn't find any option to prevent MC from using IE proxy.

Any hints?

I am having problems with not beeing able to specify proxy directly in MC as well, but it seems like there's no plan of changing this in the near future.

But if more of us request this, maybe they'll consider it... :)

Btw, a quick fix for you may be to remove settings in IE, and install an other browser. Setting proxy in other browsers won't affect MC.
