Title: question about server

Hi,
i've tried searching and couldn't find an answer, so i'm asking the question :)

background:
i've just downloaded the current version (11) and notice it doesn't stream video - client caches it then plays it.  this doesn't work for me with plenty of dvd's and other video that i have on a server.

question: will version 12 support streaming of media? if so what types?

Some video types can be streamed, others cannot. And sometimes it doesn't depend on the type, but on the actual file itself (MP4 files can have header information either before or after the data, if it is after, it cannot be streamed, but if it is before it may be able to be streamed).

Give it a try, see what works.
