I installed v12 and none of the cover art I had in v11.1 showed up. So I copied my cover art file below the Media Center 12 directory and set the In Specific Folder option in Tools / Options / File Location to the cover art folder I just created.
When I select files and use Image / Add From File or Image / Get From Internet the cover art is applied, but it doesn't pick up the cover art when I use Image / Quick Find.
I've got thousands of cover art files I don't particularly want to apply manually, and getting them from the internet is going to take a long time. Any ideas what might be going wrong?
thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I suggest you Customize Current View to add a tag called Image File. This will give you a hint of what's going on.
If the value is Inside File, that means the cover art is embedded in the file.
If it is empty - it is empty
If there is another value, it should be a path name that points to the image file. I suspect that this is your situation. You have set your options to point to a specific directory, you do a quick find and expect it to find everything, but there is already a value in this tag. If that is the case, you should be able to clear this tag and do a quick find again. Test it a a few records to see if that does it.

Thanks Randy. I added the Image File tag and they are empty. When I do a Quickfind should it find the tag in the cover art directory? It doesn't, the only way I can add an image is if I "add from file", Quickfind doesn't work. The files are named using the format artist - album.jpg
