Title: Import Media runs very slowly

This morning, I updated to version 8.0.360.  Since then, the File>>Library>>Import Media... routine runs very slowly.  That is, it imports files at a rate of only 2-3 per second.  In the past, it would import dozens per second.  Any suggestions?

Are you using ID3V2 tags?  They require a file to be re-written when it is updated.

Yes, I'm using ID3v2 tags.  Also, I've since reinstalled version 7.2 and the "Import Media" routine is functioning properly again...odd.
