This is a tough one. Is there a way to create a playlist which will automatically add, say, 25 songs per day, based on a set of criteria? It should look at the clock instead of just checking for a new day each time it is opened.
I want a way to keep myself on track for rating my music and if I had a playlist which added 25 songs per day, I could more easily force myself to get at least 25 rated per day so it didn't get out of hand. Any criteria to do this?

why not just have a list that shows 25.
Every day you have to empty it and then the next day it will always have another 25 in it.
In fact every time you refresh the view it'll have 25 so you just have to go in, tag 25 then leave the view and your done for the day :P lol

I already have that setup.

So just make it a smarlist with rating = 0. Then whenever you add a song, and refresh the smarlist, new songs are added
-
Yeah - that sounds like a pretty interesting idea. I'd actually like to use a feature like that to make a playlist for sync to my portable device that refreshes, say, 100 random songs every week or something, rather than every time I sync.
-
Yep, that's exactly what I'm talking about--and that is a good sync idea too.
Although, once you've synced, just don't sync anymore. That problem seems unnecessary because just don't sync once you've filled it with music until you're ready for new music.

Good point, but that doesn't work if there's some new songs I want to sync to the device mid-week without having to retransfer 100 additional files.
