Title: UPnP problems with MP3 playback
Post by: Chili-Jam on January 05, 2007, 05:33:07 am
Hi,

I'm using a Roku Soundbridge M1000 as a Streaming Client for MC. Everything was working well but when i upgraded to build 130
playback of MP3 broke. I can tell it still happens with build 139. Since i didn't change anything besides installing build 130 it must be something that happend in this or earlier builds.

The problem: I can connect to my library on MC and can browse everything but as soon as i want to start playing a song (MP3 files that is) the soundbridge reports an error: this music format is not supported.
When i use the same MC library but try to play .wav files it is working.

Is Windows set to auto-update?

Hi Jim,

no actually itīs not set to auto-update.
But this gave me the idea to try it using my notebook wit MC .130.
The good news: it is working, no problem here.

So itīs not related to Mc or the Soundbridge but some problem with my main machine.

I'll figure it out. Thx anyway.
