Title: Track Info plugin for TV display

Hi,

I am looking for a Track info plugin that would work well for TV display. The main functions needed are:


I tried the "Best for TV" track info plugin but that didn't work too well for 2 reasons:


Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think a good one exists. I've certainly never found one which met all my needs either so I ended up creating one myself using viz studio (within MC). It's actually a really good tool and you can knock up exactly what you want pretty quickly. Give it a go!

Thanks raym for the link. I tried that. I like them. Better than everything else I have tried. But, I would like to improve what you have done further. Can you tell me how did you create this?

Honestly, i'm no expert. Fortunately it's pretty easy.... Play some music. Goto playing now, right-click and select Vizualisation Studio. Mess with the values as you please. You'll work it out from there.  ;)

Use some of the other built-in vizualisations to see how they tick. This is what I did to give me some ideas.

Too bad the text looks like complete crap...  What is that bitmap scaling up from an 8pt font?

So, based on the pointers I get about visualization studio, I created a visualization for displaying covert art and info for TV. Here is a screen shot.

Give me your comments/suggestions.

Save this file as CoverArt.mjv in C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center 12\Visualizations\Vis Studio\Custom folder. Then select Visualization -> Custom -> CoverArt in the display view right click menu.

Odd, I cannot find this in my copy of MC12 (the latest version 12.0.147). Any ideas?

Select a visualization and then right click where the vizualization is showing. If you are not showing a visualization you can't see this (this stumped me first).

Tricky stuff, LOL.  I did right-click, but just not while there was a Viz running as I wanted to create one "from scratch".
