Post #1 - I'm a new user who was attracted by the capability of streaming audible content to a Tivo.
I've installed 12.0.139. I've ripped a CD and downloaded some audible content from my library. Both play back fine on my PC using MC.
I activated the Tivo server and my Tivo can see and navigate the content fine. The audio content ripped from CD plays fine. But the audible content plays back very garbled - like it's playing at one quarter speed.
I've experimented with various conversion settings but I still can't get the audible content to play back properly. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you have.

Steve, I've been having no success getting my jpegs to display over tivo connection, although mp3 files work ok. After seeing your post, I tried some audible files and got the same result as you reported....playing very slow and garbled...followed by the same crash I get when trying to display photos. The photo display problem has been posted elsewhere and is being addressed...perhaps the audible problem is related.

goose2 - what version of MC are you running? I fixed the TiVo image problem recently.

Has there been a fix for the photo problem since 12.0.139?
If so, how do we get it?

It was fixed in 142. There'll be something availble today hopefully.

John, what about the original problem reported with Audible content? Will the fix in 142 have any impact on this? Is Audible to Tivo a scenario that you expect to work?
Thanks,
Steve

We can play audible on the TiVo here (though we are having problems seeking in the file).
Is it possible it is a CPU problem? Slow computer trying to convert the file to MP3 format?

John....re Tivo photos and Audible files: I'm running .139 and still experiencing both the "crash on viewing photo" and the "slow-talking audible files" problems.
Cpu speed might be an issue...Athalon 1100 mb, w/1gig ram, relatively unburdened.

Photos are fixed in 142 or above, 139 still has the problem.
What are your conversion settings?

"Decode as necessary" "MP3" "VBR high quality" (I assume this is what you are asking)
