Title: Problem - MC fails to include preceding slash when syncing playlists to device
Post by: aatreya on January 06, 2007, 11:37:16 am
Playlists synced to my wm5 device do not include a preceding slash in the filename of each song.  Windows media player on the device thus looks for the songs in \Storage Card\Playlists\Storage Card\Music\Artist\..., since the playlist only contains "Storage Card\Music\Artist\..." instead of "\Storage Card\Music\Artist\..."  I tried changing the name of the portable device to "\Storage Card" and it fixed the playlist problem, but then MC couldn't locate any music on the device, as nothing showed up in the device window.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Build 151 and later will hopefully fix this.  It will use relative paths in the ASX instead of an absolute path.

(TCPMP and WMP support these relative playlists on my WM5 PocketPC)

Yep - I can confirm this has been fixed. :)
Thanks.
