Title: MC12 not updating tags in mp4 audio files

Hi,

I have noticed that MC12.0.139 is not updating tags in mp4 audio files. Tags are being updated only in Library. Is this a known issue?

MC12 can play these mp4 audio files just fine. The tags are not being changed in the files even when I do Update Tags (from library). The modified date for the file doesn't change. And, the same file being imported in another MC12 on a different computer over NAS does not show the updated tags.

MC cannot tag MP4 files.

Normally the input plugin is responsible of tagging (MP3, APE, OGG etc), but MP4 files are handled differently. Instead of an input plugin MC uses Quicktime or DirectShow filters for decoding them. MC has a tag reader that can read the basic tags, but that's all.

I wonder why JRiver has not been interested of developing a tagging system for MP4 containers.
