Quicktime for Windows is 'crippled' in that it can't handle long file names. The current limit (as far as I can tell) is characters (including the period and the file name extension).
The default filename used by MC when saving the podcast is '[ymd] [title]', and this will cause many filenames to be 'too long' for Quicktime to handle. I suggest that this be changed to '[name]' for the default, so the original filename from the author remains intact. This will help prevent issues with third party tools (quicktime and other CODECS) that MC relies on.
I *KNOW* that I can change mine (and I already have), but it took me a while to figure out exactly what was going on. This will prevent similar confusion for other/new users.
