Must ASIO4ALL or a similar program be used to take advantage of MC's ASIO capabilities?
I'm trying to output a bit perfect audio stream though my USB port to a Wavelength Brick DAC.
With MC's output set to ASIO, no device is found. Does that mean MC is looking for an ASIO plug-in (file), which is then directed to the device? Or can MC natively bypass the Kmixer and stream to my USB device? If so, how do I make that happen?
The connection between MC and the DAC is made using Direct Out, so the PC/DAC connection is being made. Thus, the problem I'm having is with ASIO.
