Title: Volume not working with Vista/AC97 audio

I'm running Vista RTM and the latest Realtek AC97 drivers (6.0.1.6213).   I am unable to change the "System Volume" using MC 12.0.154.  The volume slider doesn't move.  If I change it to "Internal Volume" it does work correctly.

I can change the system volume using the Vista mixer and other audio applications (Windows Media Player) work fine.
