No. I can not confirm this.
It works correctly for me. I scheduled a 30 min recording, and got a 29 min 56 sec recorded file.

Try setting for a future date reoccuring. Also if I set the record day to yesterday it shows a count of less than 24 hours to start of record.

Does it have to be 30 min? Will a 5 min schedule show the problem? I do not want to end up recording 30 hours! ;D

5 comes up as 5 hours (05:00)!
I tried 30, 32, 35, 40, 45 & 50 (min) each one came up as "XX:00" under duration. If you set it to a future date you can delete before it starts, also canceling a running record now works.

Duration is displayed in HH::MM::SS format. 05:00 mean 5 minutes.

3 reboots and reinstalling software fixed my problem.
