Title: Netgear Mp101-finds media server but cannot connect?

Hi every one, Im gareth from belfast, northern ireland. Got a MP101 and got sick of netgears server.  I want to use media centre but my mp101 says it `cannot connect` then said `please check server` anyone else get that prob?

I use a Netgear WGE 101  wireless bridge to connect. and im up to date on all firmware,mediacentre 12 etc etc, only thing is im on an ad-hoc connection? not to sure about all this wireless but i know im not securely connecting!

Did you configure and start the UPnP Server in MC?  It's under Servers in the tree on the left.

Firewalls can also be a problem.

thanks mate, just checked the firewall list of exceptions and it wasnt in the list, adding it now!

I used to race, but I'm done now. Motocross looks like a lot of fun, but I'm most interested in travel by bike now.
I like to go somewhere fun via twisty roads...
