I usually don't post compliments, but hats off to the programmers of MC12.  I've been using MC for about 3 years.  My collection now numbers more than 7000 albums (about 140000 files).  I noticed a significant speed improvement with MC12 compared to MC11.  The speed improvement was noticed while searching, while tagging and while displaying cover art.
