Title: Support for Dirctv DVR?

Are there any plans to provide support for the DirecTV HR20 DVR similar to what you now offer for TIVO support? The HR20 connects to WMP11 and senses Media Center 11 but won't connect.
Media Center 11 shows the following under UPnP Server:

It would be worth trying MC12.  You can have both installed on the same PC.

Installed MC12. Same results.
MC12 shows on the HR20 when searching for computers on network but nothing happens when I try to select it. The HR20 is a work in progress. It works with WMP11 but shows up as Unknown Device when setting up media sharing.

I don't know if it is UPnP compliant or not, and web search isn't turning up much.

As far as I can tell, DirecTV HR20 is not UPnP compliant. It is very similar to Microsoft's approach with the XBOX 360: the VIIV technology is based on UPnP but is different enough to not work with standard UPnP servers. I don't know if the DirecTV is XBOX 360 (Windows Connect) compliant, but there is a good chance it is. So, this may be supported in the future, either because of high demand or because we implement support for the XBOX 360, but not now.
