Yup! Tools -> Options -> File Location -> Track Images Location -> Store Images in Tags also
 :)

To add art to the tags in the files you already have I think you will have to update their tags. A "Quick find in file/cover art directory" should do the trick.

To add art to the tags in the files you already have I think you will have to update their tags. A "Quick find in file/cover art directory" should do the trick.

This may not be enough. If the files are already linked with cover art files MC thinks that the image links are OK and does not make any cover art changes. MC can embed images in the file tags only when it adds new cover art files.

If the files already have externally linked cover art I think you need to do the following:

- Enable the "Store images in tags also" option
- Select the audio files
- Right-click > Cover Art > Remove Cover Art (answer no to the "also delete from the disk" question)
- Right-click > Cover Art > Quick Find In File / Cover Art Directory
