Title: Mass update of Genre?

I've got approx 1000 FLAC format CDs in MC12.

Most lack genre information.

Is there an "easy way" to mass update these via the on line databases?

select all files, right click on the genre field, rename, change the genre

Those instructions would appear to make all the genre's selected the same as what I type in or input ...

Instead, what I'd like to do is have each album with an unassigned genre go out to the online database (assume it's the same one that's accessed when I rip a CD) and find the proper genre and then have that populate the genre field

I do have a plug-in that does this for each file (DataMaster) It's Free.

MC (yadb) also has digital fingerprinting lookup, but you can not select just the genre to update

Where do I get DataMaster?  Could not find it in the lists of plugins

It's is hard to update the list, because was done manually by someone at JRiver.

I and others chose not to use the plug-in list, i am not sure why it is like it is, (maybe security)

JimH has a post in the 3rd party forum where every one was posting some info about there plug-ins and skins.
