Title: Media Jukebox vs Media Center

I'm sure I must have missed something along the way and this might be a dumb question,  but is "media center" going to take over where "media jukebox" left off?  Is there not going to be any future release of MJ only MC from now on?  Or is "media center" just a new name & new face for the same product?

i dont have any dvd's or video.  only music.  I just want to play MP3 & CD.

Hello -

I'm a potential new customer considering MJ and was wondering if this topic could be expanded on... I don't need the video capabilities (although ASIO would be nice).  MJ8 seems to offer most everything I need at this time, and I already have apps for my video and photos.

If I consider MJ8 does that mean that I will end up having to upgrade to MC anyway?  Also I get a little anxious with alpha or v1 releases, I have better things to do than report bugs.

I asked this same question a while back and was not able to get an official answer. It appears that the MJ product is ending at 8 though.

It would be nice to have an official answer though!  ;)

That As of now is not the official answer

And at last word from JimH CEO he said there would be a MJ9 about 1 month after MC9

now if that is still current i have no idea.
