I think I already know the unhappy answer to this, but I'll give it a try anyway.
Because I was running out of space, I moved my audio files to a new drive. The playlists went along with them, but when I imported the playlists back into MC 12, they were all empty. I'm assuming that's because the files couldn't be found where the playlists originally said they were.
Is there anyway to correct the playlists, short of recreating them again?
Thanks,
Ron

Try opening them with a text editor and see what went wrong (absolute file path starting from the drive letter for example). The problem might easily be solved with a replacement software, which will allow you to replace the old path by the new in every file with a single action. I use BK Replace, it works fine and create backup files in case you make a mistake.

If you do find a mistake, carefully condense it to a find and replace set that will fix the links. BEFORE doing anything, though, backup your playlist files.
If you mainly use playlists based on ratings, I like to use a unique rating name for myself [Ben's Rating] and store that in the file itself. That way, all my ratings are saved in every file. Then, I can restore the "Star Rating" by viewing all where [Ben's Rating]=5 and rate all those 5, etc. This way you have your ratings saved in every single song. This doesn't work if you're a fan of random playlists that you just threw together.
