Title: new media server user

i have media center 11 on my home pc. i just purchased a laptop today for work & would like to use media server.that's as much as i know.... can i get media center 11 for my new laptop or do i have to upgrade both machines to media center 12. or will the laptop be ok with media center 12 and leave my home pc a media center 11also can i activate on a second machine (new laptop) with original activation codes

Both machines must be running exactly the same version of Media Center. If both are running the same version of MC11, that will work.
