After ripping a CD my MC12 hangs on a little window "please wait..." with "working" and a "Cancel" button
since several hours
Can someone help?
Thanks

Mine did that too. It's hanging on the last file when adding cover art. If you disable getting cover art automatically and do it manually, everything works out OK. Tools->Options->CD & DVD->"Get Cover Art after Ripping"

scthom,
thanks a lot, that was the solution...
But now even the most famous Queen albums fail to get the track information from the YADB database. When entering the information manually (lot of work) then it tells me after the rip "update of YADB failed" and when I want to rip another one it cannot find the information on YADB and tells me "unknown album" and "track1" etc.
Where might the problem be?
Oh, I installed version 12.0.184 to see if the problem might be gone, but it didn't...
Thanks

Same here, I get the details from cdplayer.ini but even if I attempt to send the details to YADB I get a failure notification. Is this a server problem or something else. Everything worked OK yesterday and it was only today that I selected the option to recover the art work (yep it did kill the programme) but having switched it off I'm still not able to get through to YADB.

After having killed the MC12 process several times I tried to submit album tag data to the YADB database... and get hangups too... it doesn't freeze, music plays in the meanwhile, but CPU usage is 97-98% idle and there is no activity whatsoever in MC12...
That might be a hint where to look in the program, where it might get stuck...

The server problem was fixed this morning.
When data is successfully submitted to the database, it does not display a message box. I'm not sure YADB is contributing to the hang.

Is it just the little "please wait" cover art window that is hanging, or the whole MC application?

MC plays the current track but the whole GUI is frozen...
