Hi guys,
would it be possible to run the standard view AND the theater view at the same time? More or less the same as detaching the display window onto the second monitor (= TV touchpanel)...
Would be cool...
And this just for playback!
The main standard view would be used with the keyboard/mouse/main big TFT monitors for maintenance of the library and the second theater view process would just be for playback (over IR commands?!)...
That would solve some of my needs pretty nicely
Every comment appreciated!
Martin
PS: probably it's already possible with the server functionality and another instance of MC... then a how-to would be very cool (I'm ready to write it myself to help others with the same needs, of course)

Sorry, but this isn't possible.
You could tell Theater View to always use a specific monitor (right-click display and pick "Display Options...") so it's never more than a keyboard shortcut away.

Matt,
thanks...
But isn't it possible to run the server functionality and link the second MC12 process to the internal server port? Would be just cool...
Of course, nothing else than just playback (read-only)

as another idea (with the same result I suppose):
Could I just start the MC server when the computer starts and use MusicLobby as my touchpanel playback frontend while using MC12 with standard view on my main monitor? If someone has done that already it would be cool to give me the details...
Thanks a lot
Martin
