After having ripped around 500 CDs I wonder why 11 of them just cannot be ripped...
I put the CD in, it starts with a message box "working" and then it shows an empty track list, nothing else :o
Can someone give me a hint how to rip those CDs?
I tried "analog", doesn't work
btw: these CDs can be played in a normal CD player just fine, they have no security system on them, nothing, it just looks like they would be empty

Most likely there's a copy protection system on the CD.
Try DVDIdle http://www.dvdidle.com/compare.htm (http://www.dvdidle.com/compare.htm). There's a full product for 30-day evaluation. If it works, buy it...

Nick, thanks for the tip...
I doubt it a bit because they are CD albums of the 1980s (when no copy protection systems have been invented yet), but I give it a try
I'll also report the results, stay tuned

Now it happened with Pink Floyd - The Wall - just with the second CD...
no one can tell me that this is due to a copy protection... just on the second CD...
Another idea?

something is just wrong...
it happened more and more...
I then restarted the computer (cold start) and... alas... it can suddenly read the CDs again...
strange, strange, strange... (at least now I know what I have to do...)

Hi Martin, John T fixed one of the CD problems, and we're working on a second. One of those might help in this case...

Hi Martin,
There's one fix coming out tonight, and one fix we are still working on. I don't know if either will fix your problem, but hopefully one of them will...

Hi Martin, sorry, the new stuff is only in the beta build. After we get the next problem fixed, I'll get you a copy so you can test it.
