I'm receiving the error message that "yoiur IPod could not be properly identified. Please check for an updated version of MC. IPod type ",",0,0." I'm using 12.0.193.
I have a dual-boot system (Vista and XP) and had no problem getting MC to recognize the IPod on the Vista drive. My Vista drive just failed (that's another story) and I'm trying for the first time to connect to MC on my XP drive. XP recognizes the IPod, but not MC. I reset it but that didn't help.
Same problem with 12.0.194
Update:
I was able to connect to 12.0.194 on my XP laptop.
I've tried to boot into XP on my desktop without most of the startup programs loaded but can't find the source of any conflict.

Problem resolved and reported as a bug in the .194 build thread.
As my C: drive is currently dismounted due to drive failure (MC is presently on D:), Windows was assigning the iPod to C:. For some reason MC fails to ID the iPod on C:. Changing the drive letter in Disk Manager to U: allowed MC to properly identify the iPod.
