Hi,
have you noticed that the guys from www.team-mediaportal.com have now a tv-server available? The concept is to install your tuner-card into your homeserver and only one or multiple clients connect to the server to see recorded shows or the running tv-program. BTW: You can install the server and client together on an HTPC as well ;-)
I have a DVB-S card now installed and MC12 can not provide the wanted functions. I also understand that the whole TV-stuff is brand new and still at its beginnings. So, I was just wondering if it makes sense to do a co-operation with the guys from mediaportal. MC12 could become a client to their server. Personally I think it's very interesting, at least now, as it's possible to create theaterview plug-ins.
