Hi all - i'm obviously being real stupid here, but i can't seem to do the following:
I want a View Scheme (to appear in Theater View) that shows all my albums, sorted by date imported (descending).
So I create a View Scheme under Audio.
Step 1: has just Album
Step 2: Auto-name
Step 3: defaults
Step 4: ~sort=[Date Imported]-d
But when i look at it in Theater View - i get all the albums sorted alphabetically!
What am i doing wrong please?

Step 3: defaults
Step 4: ~sort=[Date Imported]-d
If the parent view scheme (such as just "Audio" for example) is sorted alphabetically, and you have Honor parent scheme search strings checked, it'll obey the sorting of the parent not the child scheme. Try unchecking that box.

Thanks for quick response.
I thought (for simplicity) i'd delete my View Scheme and just try and get the Audio section to show what i wanted (then there's no parent issues).
So i did that, and unclicked the Honor just in case - but going to Theater View -> Audio shows all my albums still in alphabetical order.
Is it because in Step 1: "View Scheme Item" it has sorting (ascending or descending) in there and that is overruling my sort in the Step 4 section?

OK - i've played with it a bit now and think i understand....
Step 4 is for the files you eventually drill down into - so that is no good for what i want.
So - REQUEST TIME - can the View Scheme setup be modified to include more than "Ascending" and "Descending" as sort options in Step 1?
I'm looking for sorting by date imported but i'm sure there will be lots of other sorts useful to people.
Any chance?
Thanks....
