OK. I know I won't get much sympathy on my shiny new Panasonic HD camera and it (to date) fairly worthless for exporting AVCHD video format.
Now Nero seems to have a modicum of support for it (I'm d/ling now). So at least I'll be able to presumably play my stuff on the PC. Now what?
Anyway to integrate this into MC at this point?
Any discussions about AVCHD for the future?
Any suggestions? I don't even have BluRay; too expensive, unless I got a game machine.

If it's a standard AVC MPEG-4 codec, then FFDSHOW should be able to handle it... Have you tried renaming them (if needed) to MP4 and playing them? If you have CCCP installed I bet they'll play...
