After making numerous tag changes to library, some PCs running MC12 on my home network do not recognize the latest versions of these files. I've tried Library Tools > Update Library from Tags (without success), then a full reimport of database after wiping library clean, but wind up with the old versions of the clips. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Are you sure the tags are being saved?
Perhaps there's a network / permissions problem keeping the tags from saving.
You can get a full dump using the Action Window > Tag > Format (click on "Format" for the full tag dump)

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm not sure what this procedure tells me. Here's an example of what's happening: When I change "The Beatles" to "Beatles," MC shows tag changes at work then a completion message. But other PCs render "The Beatles" despite a fresh import.

when you do what matt descibes, you can see what is really in the tags of the files. changes to the library are not necessarily changes to the file tags.
under options>general>importing & tagging>update tags when file info changes.
in tools>library and folders>starderd library fields, choose one and edit, you can see that for every field there is an option you can check called store in file tags.

Also... What file types are they?

Clips are .mp3 extracted in EAC and compressed with Lame. The very few AAC files I have don't seem to accept tag changes.
Tag changes on my .mp3 files are made on a "front end" PC running MC12, network-connected to host server where music library resides. Other PCs on my network, however, don't seem to recognize the tag changes. I've tried different import settings to no avail. Running XP Pro.
Thanks for any help.
