I have been using the Tivo Server with MC for ages, and it has generally worked great.
However, I just went to play a playlist last night, and the Tivo responds "This folder does not contain any playable music".
Any playlist or playlist group I try has the same effect. These are playlists that all worked before thru Tivo.
If I navigate thru Disk location, I can play any music file just fine.
I am running the newest public build of MC 12....but I haven't used the Tivo to stream for a month of so, so I'm not sure when this may have happened.
Any ideas?

It's working here. What kind of music (ape? mp3?) is in the playlist and what are your conversion settings?

It was a mix of types.....FLAC, APE, MP3..... I have it set to convert to 320 MP3 if necessary. I'll dig into it some more at home now that I know it should be working.
I have playlists grouped by Theme (random summer music, slow songs), Bands (all REM albums, best Pearl Jam covers, etc), and more.... None of these seemed to work. That is why I thought one of the changes to MC in recent beta versions might have fouled up my playlists for Tivo..... But if this is not the case, I'll see what I can discover.
Thanks for taking the time to check this out.

I figured out what the problem was - Thought it might be of interest to you John (or others)
....So I was confounded. I had all kinds of playlists that used to work just fine with all different types of music. I seemed to have done nothing differently, yet Tivo stubbornly always reported "This Folder Contains No Playable Music" whenever I selected "Playlists". Selecting by disk location or scheme worked fine on Tivo, and the playlists worked fine on my PC.
...as I fiddled around creating new playlists to see if a fresh playlist would be recognized, I noticed something odd in the tree. After all of my playlist groups and playlists, I had one more green playlist icon without a name.
This was the culprit.
It was an empty playlist without a name (Blank). I'm guessing I accidentially clicked something to create a playlist, and never put anything in it (or deleted it). So it just sat there as an empty playlist in the tree, not seeming to impact anything.....until I used the Tivo. Once I deleted the playlist, I restarted MC (to try and force it to refresh for Tivo), then navigated to Playlists. It gave me an Error 3-4-5 (I believe that was the number)..... I tried again right away and everything showed up and worked fine.
All is now well - that one pesky playlist seemed to be the root of all evil. Weird.

Very strange! I'll try to reproduce this here and if I can, I may be able to fix it...
Thanks very much for the info
