Title: No Display in Theater View / Playing Now
Post by: Dutch Peter on April 01, 2007, 04:22:11 am
I would like to get rid of the Display in the Playing Now (in Theater View).
It is at the bottom, but in a way I do not like it.
There are all kinds of settings under Control - Display, but none of them are 'No Display'.

here is what you can do.
go to C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center 12\FullSkins
make a copy of your favorite theater view skin and give it a name

open the folder. in the folder there is a file called main.xml. open that folder with notepad.
delete: <PIP Rect="1.2,76.5,22.2,97.5" PlayingNowRect="0.9,51.0,99.5,99.5" />
this deletes the display. but the playing now list is filling only half the screen.
to let the playingnow list fill the whole screen look two sentences beneath what you just deleted.

there stays :     PlayingNowRect="23.4,8.0,99.5,50.0"
change that in : PlayingNowRect="23.4,8.0,99.5,99.0"

save the file and go to options to choose your 'new' skin

have fun
