Well now i am using MC12, 2/3 days ago i was playing a cue file containing 20 tracks and then i choose track info as display and i found that no info is showing,
may be the reason is the templates use ID3 tag which the cue files don't have. and thats why so info is showing
i just want to konw about this, may be u can fix this in later version
-
this problem still exists.
the trackinfo template should not be using id3 tags but should be reading from the MC12 database.
is there a fix yet?
-
perhaps track info thinks that the file doesn't exist
Maybe it is looking for a file like this:
The Killers - Sam's Town.mp3;5
Since there actually is no such file, track info refuses to display the data in the MC12 database?

Somehow I have not noticed your posts earlier.
The track info tempeletes get the field data from MC's database, not from the physical file tags. They work for example with wave files, which don't contain tags.
This seems to a new problem in MC12. MC11.1 does not have this problem.
If the big audio source file is imported MC displays the library info from that file. If the source file is not imported the Track Info display does not appear at all when cue files are played.
Obviously MC incorrectly tries to use library data which is associated with file name The Killers - Sam's Town.mp3 instead of The Killers - Sam's Town.mp3;5. MC has a "virtual" library file with the latter filename and it should display tag data from that file.
