Title: Is there a visual XML editor?
Post by: maxxsid on April 06, 2007, 06:59:12 pm
Hello,
How do you guys edit those fancy xml files?
Is there a visual editor for that? (like FrontPage or for HTML).
I've seen editors which color code the code and make it easier to do things but it's really a pain do design a complex page/interface.
TIA!

I guess there should be many tools to do what you want but my personal choice has been XML Spy (www.xmlspy.com).  If you plan to do XSL transformations this may come in handy too.  A nice feature is that it lets you view your file as nested tables so it's easier to edit in most of the cases.

Let me know what do you expect from a tool like this besides what you've already mentioned, which the program i mention happens to manage very well.

Cheers
