Title: OK, I give up! How do I verify the library?
Post by: Mastiff on April 08, 2007, 12:05:44 pm
Once upon a time it was under the library menu. Then it was under import. Now there's nothing I can find, unless you want me to use the auto import, which I can't (because of many changes in disk configuration). Is there nowhere to initiate a manual verfication anymore?

I think that's the general idea, to "manually run auto-import"  ;)

What exactly is the problem with "many changes in disk configuration"? have drive letters or base paths changed so that it will delete entries it cannot find? Because you can turn that off. ...

Mastiff.  I too have struggled with this one.  Used to love this feature in previosu versions.  However i think i have sussed out how to do it.  If you have no directories in auto import, but run an auto import anyway it appears to then carry on and "verify" the library.

Hope this helps

What is the difference between verify and using the missing files expression ?
