Title: Request: scroll by full rows in thumbnails mode
Post by: carbo on April 10, 2007, 08:44:48 am
When browsing my library by thumbnails (either audio or image) i always try to set the thumbnails size so that i have only full rows displayed. But when i scroll down by one step (one mouse wheel turn) it only goes down for a bit, so i have split thumbnails on top, and split ones at the bottom.

What i would like is a scrolling based on rows. After scrolling down one time, i would like to have the second row at the top of the view.
In this way, browsing will be much faster (with 10 mouse wheel turns, you re at the 11th row) and display will be much more coherent.

I have just realized that s exactly how it's working in the theater view  ;D

So it would be really nice to apply this to the "standard view" in thumbnail mode.  ;)

Standard View uses standard Windows list controls (extended a lot) and they're not designed to do full item scrolling.

There's a chance this could change, but it wouldn't be until version 13.
