Title: sorting "international" months
Post by: robydago on April 10, 2007, 02:39:55 pm
With XP "control panel">"regional and language options">"regional options">"standards and formats" set to "English (United States)" MC sorts months correctly from January to December (ascending) or December to January (descending)

If I set it to Italian, in MC I get the following wrong list no matter if I select ascending or descenging order (nothing happens if I switch between them!)

luglio (July)
novembre (November)
ottobre (October)
gennaio (January)
febbraio (February)
marzo (March)
agosto (August)
giugno (June)
dicembre (December)
maggio (May)
settembre (September)
aprile (April)

Any Idea?

Italy ! Roma 1-7 :o

sorry  ;)...but maybe you could do a calc field like 01 - gennaio
                                                                   02 - febbraio
                                                                   03 - etc.....

Lasse_Lus,
I could try a workaround, but I think that if sorting months works in English, it should work correctly in any other language.

Thanks for letting us know.

It should be fixed in build 216 and later.

Uwe,
I think those are interim builds, available only to beta testers.
Maybe even 216 will not be available to us and we'll be able to get version 217 or even higher.
